Hearing Service

If you think you've got hearing problems then we've got the solution!

Pierremont Pharmacy is proud to now offer a Hearing Service for Adults. Not only that, the test is free!

Lots of us like to think that our hearing is fine but the truth is we are often in denial. Did you know that 1 in 2 people over the age of 70 have some type of hearing problem? But remember, you don't have to be over 70 to have a hearing problem!

So how does this work?

*All you need to do is book an appointment with us here at Pierremont Pharmacy. When you come for your appointment you will have a consultation with our hearing expert Mr. S. Casey BA RHAD. FSHAA

Mr. Casey will start by talking to you about your general health and discuss your hearing.

After this discussion, Mr. Casey will then use an otoscope to examine your ears and then he will conduct the hearing test.

After the hearing test, Mr. Casey will discuss your results with you and then recommend the best course of action and if your condition dictates it, he will refer you to your GP.

**Alternatively, the best recommendation may be the use of a hearing aid which you would be able to purchase from us here at Pierremont Pharmacy.**

If the hearing aid route is taken, you will also recieve ongoing 6 monthly appointments at no additional cost.

In other words, if your course of action is purchasing a hearing aid, that is the only money you will part with. The ongoing 6 monthly appointments and maintenance will have no extra charges whatsoever attached to them!

And remember, your hearing test is completely free of charge and Mr. Casey's advice comes with absolutely no obligation to buy!

* Appointments are on a Friday Morning between 9am and 1pm and must be booked in advance
